GREEN BUILDING
Green Building is an initiative aimed to promote the concept of creating sustainable
building environments that can put nature at the minimal risk. This approach ensures
health and comfort of the building occupants through the use of sustainable building
materials. By adapting to Green Building practices, one can substantially reduce
or eliminate negative environmental impacts and improve existing unsustainable design,
construction and operational practices that pose risk to both nature and habitants.
As an added benefit, green design measures reduce operating costs, enhance building
marketability, increase worker productivity, and reduce potential liability resulting
from indoor air quality problems.
A Green Building uses less energy, water and natural resources, creates less waste
and is healthier for the people living in it compared to a conventional building.

It contains less embodied energy, manufactured with renewable materials & renewable
energy. It uses fewer amounts of water and material resources in its manufacturing
processes, releases minimal or no toxic waste during its use, is long lasting and
easy to maintain as well as easy to dispose off. With its water-saving and resources
saving point of view, it saves energy, water & other natural resources during its
use and results in a healthier environment compare to common alternatives.

Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design
LEED India is the indigenized version of the LEED rating system and is administered
by the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) under license agreement with the USGBC.
Launch of LEED India Green Building rating system for New Construction and Core
& Shell lead to a significant growth in registration of new commercial building
projects for green certification. LEED India rating system refers to local and national
codes wherever available and to intentional benchmarks in absence an Indian equivalent.
LEED India rating system is a performance based approach. Rather than prescribing
specific technologies & materials, LEED India sets the performance benchmarks and
encourages the project team to achieve them with optimal resource inputs in their
context.

ENVIRONMENT FRIENDLY PARTICLE BOARD PLANT
As a revolutionary strive, Rushil Group has ventured in to Particle Board manufacturing
by establishing plant at Navalgadh, Dist.: Surendranagar, Gujarat in August 2009.
This is the FIRST PLANT in India to manufacture Particle Board by using Cotton Stalk
and waste wood as a raw material with manufacturing capacity of 100 cubic meters
per day.
Normally in villages, farmers use cotton stalk as a domestic fuel to cook the food
or burn it, so it goes in trash without any use.
By using cotton stalk as the raw material Rushil Group is contributing to great
extent in preserving the beauty of nature. As the beneficial move towards preserving
nature, this utility factor helps in:
