VAULT
Solid compact laminate, also known as phenolic core board, is made
from layers of cellulose-based paper impregnated with thermosetting resins. The
surface layers—decorative paper and overlay film—are treated with melamine
formaldehyde
(MF) resin for durability and design, while the core layers of kraft
paper are impregnated with phenol formaldehyde (PF) resin. These layers are bonded
under high temperature (above 120°C) and pressure (over 5 Mpa), creating a dense,
non-porous and highly durable material with a density above 1350 kg/m³, manufactured
as per EN 438 standards.
For environments demanding higher hygiene, these panels are also
available in an AB+ variant with enhanced antibacterial protection. Ideal for
hospitals, labs, gyms and similar spaces, AB+ panels help reduce bacterial spread.
Fire-retardant (FR) grades can also be provided on request, subject to minimum order
quantities.
