How thick is a laminate sheet?

Usually laminate sheets have thicknesses ranging from 0.6 mm to 1.5 mm, and these sheets are glued together using adhesives.

What are VIR laminate sheets made of?

  • A bottom layer of brown paper coated with phenolic resin

How many layers are there in HPL Sheets?

HPL Sheets consist of four Layers:

  • Overlay- The outer overlay is transparent, stain-resistant melamine for additional protection.
  • Décor- The second layer is the décor layer, available in many textures, colours, and designs, to enhance the beauty of the wall surface.
  • Fiber-board Core - This core is the hard maintenance layer which provides superior stability.
  • Bottom Layer - This layer is melamine impregnated paper, responsible for structural solidity and moisture resistance.
